HAYWARD, Calif. – Dominican women's golf moved inside the top-10 after the final round of the 2025 East Bay Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Stonebrae Country Club.
Cal State San Marcos took home the team championship with a 32 over par, topping Simon Fraser by 10 strokes. The Penguins moved ahead of conference mate Menlo by a single stroke to finish ninth at 88 over par, narrowly missing tying Westmont for eighth by a single stroke.
Christen Faith Legaspi was a bastion of consistency for Dominican throughout the 54-hole tournament as she opened with a 4 over 76 in the first round and added a 75 in the second round. She followed up with another 76 to lead her team in all three rounds and tie for 12th overall.
Jenny Lee bounced back from a 10 over in her first round to post rounds of 5-over 77 and 7-over 79 to move up the leaderboards into a tie for 36th.
Ellexis Mingming found her groove in the final round that helped propel Dominican past the oaks following rounds of 82 and 84 with a 5-over 77 to tie for 44th overall.
Madi Whitney opened with a 9 over, but slowed with an 87 in Monday's second round. Like Mingming, Whitney saved her best for last to post a 7-over 79 as she moved into a tie for 50th.
Avery Kraatz rounded out the team as she improved as the tournament progressed with rounds of 86, 84 and 81 to finish 61st overall.
Dominican has now concluded its fall season and will return in February for its spring championship segment.
