Penguins make a splash to begin new era

CARMEL, Calif. – Dominican men's golf started its new era off on a high note as it claimed the team championship and the individual championship at the PCH Invitational at Qual Lodge Golf Club.

Jerred Scott added another top five finish for the Penguins as he bounced bay from a 4-over 75 in his first round to post a 1 under and move into fifth place at 3 over par. Carter Degelman also saw a big improvement from his first round going from a 77 to a 72 to finish at 7 over par in his first tournament as a Penguin.
