IRVINE, Calif. –
Claire Shubin earned her second PacWest Golfer of the Week honors after collecting her second individual title of the season at the Western Washington Women's Golf Invitational at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club.
Shubin tied her own record low for the Penguins with a 3 under par in her final round after shooting even par on day one. She used six birdies in her final round to gain four strokes of separation between her and second place finisher Taylor Stewart of Chico State. She also led her team to a new program record of 1-over 289 as a team, besting the previous record by four strokes.
The win concluded Dominican's fall season as they will return to the course February 27 at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.
