IRVINE, Calif. – Jake Quast added another academic award to his resume with the PacWest Men's Golf Scholar Athlete of the year as announced by the conference office Wednesday.
 
Quast graduated with a degree in business administration and a 3.802 GPA to become the second men's golfer to earn the conference award. At graduation Quast was given Dominican's Outstanding Student Award for the graduating class of 2019.
 
He was also named Second Team All-PacWest after finishing in a tie for 19th at the PacWest Men's Golf Championships. He was named the PacWest Golfer of the Week twice this season after taking fifth at the NDNU Argonaut Invitational and finishing 15th at the Dixie State Fall Regional Preview with a low round of 6-under 66.
