IRVINE, Calif. – Dominican University of California men's golfer Nick Rivera has been named this week's PacWest Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 8-14.
 
Rivera led Dominican against a strong field of Division I teams at the USF Olympic Intercollegiate in San Francisco. He was the top Penguin on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 47th with a three-round 227. Dominican, the only DII team in the 14-team event, finished 13^th (923), three strokes ahead of Hawaii.

Dominican will continue its fall schedule on October 3-4 at the Interwest Wildcat Classic at Butte Creek Country Club in Chico, California.
