IRVINE, Calif. — Dominican University of California women's golfers Madeleine Bong and Isabelle Salcedo have been named to the 2015 All-PacWest Women's Golf Third Team.

Bong, a freshman from Los Gatos, California, averaged a score of 80.86. She placed fifth at the PacWest Championships, where she posted her three lowest rounds of the year (75-74-76).

Salcedo, a junior from Woodland Hills, California, earned All-PacWest Third Team honors for the second time in her career. Salcedo was the Penguins' top golfer much of the season and posted a team-best 80.54 scoring average. She finished the season in 26th place at the PacWest Championships.

The women's golf team finished in fifth place at the PacWest Championships, the highest finish in program history. The Penguins separated themselves from much of the competition, with a 52-stroke lead over sixth-place Hawai'i Pacific.
