SAN FRANCISCO — An early 2-0 doubles lead didn't hold for the Dominican University of California women's team, which dropped its last regular season home match of the season on Saturday to #38 Academy of Art University.

Marissa Frazer needed extra points to best Michelle Dandik and Kinga Kurczbuch, 9-7, in number doubles play. Freshman

Emily Prescott were blanked 8-0 by Jenny Johansson and Lucia Zavarcikova.
The Urban Knights (17-5) turned the tables to make it 4-2 with wins in the three through five spots and clinched it with wins at all but the number one singles match, which Morozova secured with tiebreakers 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 10-8.
The Lady Penguins now head to Hawai'i to compete in the Pacific West Conference championships at Central Oahu Regional Park April 18 to 20.
