Biography
2012: As a sophomore played 13 matches at No. 1 singles and 15 matches at No. 1 doubles, all with partner Gaby Verspieren. Posted 6-5 record in singles. Won two matches against Sonoma State's Megan White on Feb. 4 and April 15. Won final match of the season, defeating Dixie State's Krista Anderson 6-0, 6-1 to help Penguins claim seventh place in the Pacific West Conference Women's Tennis Championships. Posted 8-6 record in doubles, winning five of first seven matches including three in a row from Feb. 11 to Feb. 19. Upset 10th ranked Sonoma State No. 1 doubles team 8-6 on April 15. Upset top-ranked BYU-Hawaii's No. 1 doubles team 8-6 in quarterfinals of PacWest Championships on April 19. Won final doubles match of the season, defeating Dixie State's top tandem 9-8 (7-3), on April 21. Selected along with Verspieren to second team All-PacWest team. Named Most Outstanding Player for Dominican women's tennis at all-sports awards ceremony in April 2012.
2011: As a freshman played in 15 matches at No. 1 singles and 17 matches at No. 1 doubles, all but one with Shannon McCarthy. Posted 6-8 record in singles. Won matches on consecutive days (Feb. 12-13) losing only six games in leading Penguins to wins over Mills College and Notre Dame de Namur. Defeated Cal Tech's Rebekah Kitto 6-3, 6-4 in Penguins' win on Feb. 20. Defeated Dixie State's Allison Long 6-0, 6-3 in Penguins' win on April 16. Posted 5-11 record in doubles. Teamed with McCarthy to win matches 8-0 on consecutive days (Feb. 12-13). Defeated Dixie State's No. 1 doubles team 8-3 on April 16.
