SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory versus Holy Names.
The Penguins battled through doubles play but came away with the early 3-0 lead. From there, the Penguins earned the top five singles matches. Senior
Kelly Zwicker, who was honored in a prematch ceremony, was victorious at No. 3 doubles with partner
Cori Beeby and at No. 4 singles. Her 22 career singles wins and 25 career doubles win are both second most for the program in the Division II era.
Winners of four of their last six matches, the Penguins will head to Stanislaus State on Saturday, April 9 at 12 p.m.
