IRVINE, Calif. – The field for the 2016 PacWest Women's Tennis Championships was finalized Sunday and the official bracket announced. The tournament returns to the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Center in Surprise, Arizona, April 13-16.

The women's tournament expands to 12 teams this year and adds an extra day of competition. The 5-12 seeds will play first round matches on April 13. The top-four seeds receive a bye into the quarterfinals, and will play the first round winners on April 14. The women play at 9 a.m. each day, and the first round losers will play consolation matches at 5:30 p.m. on April 14.

"We are excited to make history with the largest tennis tournament ever in the PacWest Conference," said PacWest Commissioner Bob Hogue. "With 20 teams competing in 28 total matches over four days at a nationally-renowned tennis complex, we know it's going to be a great experience for our student-athletes and their fans."

Dominican is the No. 10 seed and will face off with the No. 7 seed, No. 25 nationally-ranked Academy of Art on Wednesday, April 13 at 9 a.m.
