The nationally-ranked Golden Eagles (7-6) grabbed a 3-0 lead in doubles play and cruised in singles play, led by No. 35-ranked Nozomi Matsuoka. The Penguins' (3-7)
Brooke Briseño battled at No. 2 singles, though the match had already been decided, and gave a good fight but service proved costly.
Dominican hosts Dixie State on Sunday, March 20. First serve has been moved up to 9 a.m. in anticipation of rain later in the day.
