WAIPAHU, Hawaii — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team got back in the win column on Saturday at Central Oahu Regional Park with a 7-2 victory over UH Hilo.

Chloe Vicari and Kelly Zwicker moved to 4-3 on the season as a duo with an 8-2 No. 2 doubles victory over Bianca Novotna and Chanelle Piliwale-Wilson. Solveig Karlsen and Mackenzie Flanagan earned an 8-4 victory at No. 3 doubles versus Shanise Ka'aikala and Shayli Lim.

Rickimae Torres, the No. 36-ranked singles player in the nation in NCAA Division II, moved to 4-3 on the season with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Trixie Croad. Gianna Cupo took No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0, over Bianca Novotna. Karlsen topped Ka'aikala 6-3, 6-2 in No. 4 singles. Zwicker also moved to 4-3 on the season with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Piliwale-Wilson in No. 5 singles. Flanagan earned the win at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-3, over Lim.

The Penguins are off until Monday, March 9 when they head north to Laie, Hawaii to face No. 4 BYU-Hawaii, who is 13-0 on the season. The Seasiders have swept all but two of their matches.
