SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team closed out its home schedule with a 7-2 victory over Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday afternoon at John F. Allen Athletics Complex.

The No. 10 regionally-ranked Penguins (9-5) established a 3-0 lead with strong doubles play, and got a pair of singles victories from seniors Irina Morozova and Emily Prescott. Morozova and Prescott paired up to take No. 1 doubles, 8-3, over McKenzy Harden and Jessica Laurie. Then Morozova finished her last college match on the Dominican campus with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Harden. Prescott topped Jessica Laurie, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5, to take No. 2 singles. Fellow senior Caitlin Aloia dropped her No. 3 singles match but earned a win in No. 2 doubles play with partner Chloe Vicari, 8-3, against J'Ana Diamond and Alyssa Tallas. Kelly Zwicker and Francescas Katafias closed things out with wins in No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, and teamed up to take No. 3 doubles 8-2.

Dominican will close out the regular season with a trip to Fresno Pacific University, currently ranked No. 33 in the country and No. 8 in the West Region. First serve is set for Saturday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m.
