Box ScoreSAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team dropped its second to last home match of the season on Saturday in a 9-0 sweep by No. 35 Sonoma State.
The No. 10 Penguins fell quicly to the No. 9 Seawolves, though the Penguins weren't swept in any match. Junior Chole Vicari, who earned Dominican's lone win in the two teams' last matchup, took a set 6-2 but eventually fell 6-2, 10-4 to Sheena Johnson at No. 4 singles.

Irina Morozova and
Emily Prescott and the doubles pair of
Caitlin Aloia and Vicari fell 8-5 in their respective doubles matches.
Morozova held her own in singles play but fell to the No. 8 player in the country, Sara Celma, 6-4, 6-2.
The Penguins will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, April 6 versus Cal State Stanislaus. The Penguins took their first meeting of the year by a 6-3 decision. First serve is slated for 12:00 p.m. at the John F. Allen Athletics Complex.
