Penguins fall to No. 3 BYU-Hawaii at PacWest Championships

SURPRISE, Ariz. — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team was swept by No. 3 BYU-Hawaii in the opening round of the Pacific West Conference Championships on Thursday at the City of Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club.

The No. 10 regionally-ranked Penguins were swept in doubles play to a Seasiders squad that features the No. 4 and 7 teams in the nation. The Seasiders took the match with wins at No. 3 and 6 singles.

Dominican moves to the consolation bracket and will face Point Loma at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18. Live stats will be available here.
