FRESNO, Calif. — Irina Morozova and Emily Prescott, upset the No. 18-nationally ranked duo of Petra Jurova and Angelika Sobiecka 8-4 but the Dominican University of California women's tennis team closed out the regular season with an 8-1 loss at No. 33 Fresno Pacific University on Saturday.

The No. 10 regionally-ranked Penguins (9-6) will now head to Surprise, Ariz. for the Pacific West Conference Championships hosted by Azusa Pacific University. The tournament will be held at the City of Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club from April 17-19. All eight teams qualifying for the tournament are regionally ranked. The Penguins are projected to be the No. 8 seed.
