SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's tennis team was swept by No. 13 Academy of Art University for the second time this season on Sunday.

Irina Morozova and Emily Prescott fell 8-3 to Nina Gajdosikova and Daniela Amelunge in No. 1 doubles actiont. ART U (10-1) took a 3-0 lead with 8-1 and 8-0 victories in the other doubles matches.

Morozova fell to Gajdosikova in No. 1 single play in a tiebreaker, 2-6, 6-2, 10-4. Francesca Katafias gave the Penguins (4-4) their next best chance in a 6-3, 6-3 loss to Kinga Kurczbuch at No. 6 singles.

The Penguins host two matches this coming week, versus NDNU on March 19 at 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 23 vs. UH Hilo at 12:00 p.m. The Penguins also head to Holy Names on Saturday, March 22 for a 9:00 a.m. match.
