, took the win as the number two player over Lydia Hays with scores of 6-4 and 7-5.
Michele Freitas, playing as the number one player for the first time this season, fell to Alicia Holm 6-1, 6-4.
Dominican was swept by the Red Storm, ranked no. 10 in the West Region, in doubles.
Tami Tan and
Anh Truong played Hays and Ashley Lafeen close in the number two slot but fell 8-5.
The Dominican women are right back it on Sunday, March 14 when another PacWest program, Academy of Art University, visits for a doubleheader of matches set at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
