LAIE, Hawai'i — The Dominican University of California women's soccer team gave up two first half goals en route to a 2-0 loss on Saturday against the ninth-ranked Brigham Young University - Hawaii women's soccer team in Pacific West Conference play.

Natasha Aiono scored both goals for the Seasiders (10-0-2/8-0-1). Aiono scored in the 39th minute on a header off a free kick and score again in the 44th minute, booting home a deflected ball from right in front of the net.

Dominican (4-7-1/3-4-1) placed two shots on goal. Julianna Bratsberg took three shots with one on goal. Tori Selesia made the Lady Penguins' other attempt. Keeper Megan Herring stopped three balls.

The Lady Penguins will look to salvage the rest of their trip to Hawai'i on Monday, October 18 against Chaminade University and on Wednesday, October 20 at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Both matches are scheduled for 12:30 p.m./3:30 p.m. Pacific.
