It was clear from the start that Molloy would be dominant, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first four minutes of play. The Lions took a 10-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and to that point held Dominican shotless.  Junior captain Lawrence Nardi got the Penguins on the board with a goal at 12:25 in the second quarter.
Sophomore attackman Chris Baker added a goal in the third quarter and freshman attackman Reed Upson (pictured, right) posted a goal in the fourth quarter. Freshman middie Corey Botwinick and freshman goalie Nic Pickell added assists in the loss. In addition to his assist, Pickell made 20 saves on the day.
Sophomore attackman Ryan Bohlert led all players with 4 goals for the Lions.  Five other Malloy players scored two goals apiece.

With the victory, Molloy remains undefeated at 4-0 while Dominican falls to 3-6. Dominican will look to snap its two game losing streak when they host the University of Nevada, Reno on Sunday, March 22. Faceoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
