SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California men's lacrosse team was outmatched on Thursday as the NCAA Division II No. 6 Molloy College Lions rolled to a 23-3 victory.
It was clear from the start that Molloy would be dominant, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first four minutes of play. The Lions took a 10-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and to that point held Dominican shotless. Junior captain
Lawrence Nardi got the Penguins on the board with a goal at 12:25 in the second quarter.

Nic Pickell added assists in the loss. In addition to his assist, Pickell made 20 saves on the day.
Sophomore attackman Ryan Bohlert led all players with 4 goals for the Lions. Five other Malloy players scored two goals apiece.
With the victory, Molloy remains undefeated at 4-0 while Dominican falls to 3-6. Dominican will look to snap its two game losing streak when they host the University of Nevada, Reno on Sunday, March 22. Faceoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
