Coach Bill Treseler brought focus, leadership, and dedication to Dominican basketball from 2000 to 2005, compiling an astounding 118–53 record and a 71–10 conference mark. Treseler led Dominican to its first three California Pacific Conference Championships and was named Cal Pac Coach of the Year for three consecutive seasons (2003 to 2005). In his final year as head coach, Treseler took the Penguins to their third straight Cal Pac Championship and to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NAIA Division II National Tournament. From 2005 to 2006, Treseler served the University as Director of Athletics.
