Dominican Athletics Hall of Fame • 2008 Inductee

David “Moorsey” Moore, retired jersey No. 13, put Dominican men’s basketball on the map... and all the way to his native Australia. Moore played basketball from 2002 to 2006, helping lead the Penguins to four consecutive California Pacific Conference Championships and a Sweet 16 national appearance in 2005. While at Dominican, Moore became the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,795 points, career leader in rebounds (730), free throws made (420), field goal percentage (.653), and blocked shots (90). During his final three seasons, Moore was named an NAIA All-American and Cal Pac MVP. Moore graduated from Dominican in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business.
