Jocie Snyder brought the energy for Dominican against the Sunbirds as she flashed a couple of nice plays in the first two sets. Snyder, the Washington native, posted a team high nine digs. Midway through the second set the Penguins would go on a nice run led by sophomore
Chloe Cruz who was feeding teammates all night. Cruz, the Cerritos native, dished out a team high eight assists while
Kiara Milar was right behind her with five.
Schwartz had a couple big time slams to halt the Sunbirds momentum in the third set, but FPU would eventually pull away. Junior

Kali Young gave Dominican solid minutes down low as they each collected two blocks.
The Penguins will be back on home court Nov. 3
rd when they host Chaminade at 7 p.m.
