Dominican women's volleyball hosted the Westmont Warriors Friday night in a PacWest showdown. The visitors from Santa Barbara are new this year to the conference. After a three-game southern California road-trip, the Penguins were back at home.
The Warriors came out victorious in this match 3 sets to zero, but sophomore
Lauren Wiley provided much needed energy off the bench. The Illinois native was tied with junior
Ella Heckman with five blocks on the night. When she was subbed in towards the end of the first set, Wiley sparked a run which had the Warriors scrambling.
Junior
Camille Rivers led the team with 12 assists on the night, and freshman
Christina Muller was right behind her with nine.
The Penguins are right back at it tomorrow afternoon when they host Biola at 1 p.m.
