Dominican women's volleyball hosted Concordia University Irvine for a Sunday afternoon match to conclude their three-game homestand. The Penguins swatted down six blocks in this match, which was one more than the Golden Eagles. CUI would end up winning three sets to zero.
Sophomore
Jasmine Heyward led the Penguins in kills going for five on the day. The five kills for Heyward marked a season-high for her.
Amani Abed posted three blocks for the second consecutive match as she was a headache for the Golden Eagles. Sophomore
Avery Schneider also collect three blocks against CUI.
Dominican will be back on the court next Saturday Oct. 28
th at 2 p.m. when they travel to Fresno Pacific.
