The Penguins hosted Point Loma Nazarene for a PacWest clash on Friday night. The Sea Lions would end up winning three sets to zero, but Dominican put up a strong effort. The Penguins had more blocks than the Sea Lions Friday night.

Amani Abed swatted down a game-high three blocks while also collecting three kills. The Fresno native was a force up front and forced the Sea Lions to attack away from her. Junior

Avery Schneider also collected blocks on the night.
Heckman would lead the Penguins in kills going for six while graduate student
Edee Leslie and freshman
Braenwynne Matthews were tied for second with five.
Freshman
Christina Muller was feeding her teammates all night with a team-high 12 assists. Junior
Camille Rivers was behind her with five on the night.
Dominican will wrap up their three-game home stand Sunday, Oct 22
nd at 2 p.m. when Concordia University Irvine comes to town.
