Dominican women's volleyball squared off against the Golden Eagles of CUI Saturday afternoon. CUI would end up winning 3 sets to zero, but the Penguins had themselves a block party.
The Penguins racked up nine blocks on the day which was one more than CUI. Senior
Amani Abed had a game high four blocks and sophomore
Avery Schneider was right behind her swatting down three blocks.

Braenwynne Matthews led the team with eight kills each. For a second straight match, junior
Camille Rivers led the Penguins in assists with 12 of them. Freshman
Christina Muller was one behind Rivers with 11 assists on the day.
The Penguins will return home Thursday Oct. 19
th at 7 p.m. when they host Azusa Pacific.
