IRVINE, Calif. – Senior guards
Christopher Williams II and
Jaelen Ragsdale were named to the All-Pacific West Conference Northern California Team on Wednesday after a vote by conference coaches.
Williams saved his best year for last as he led the PacWest in 3-point percentage, knocking down a blistering 40.3% on 2.8 makes per game, the second best mark in the conference. He was 14th in the conference and fifth in the pod scoring 13.9 points per game while collecting 4.9 rebounds per game from the guard spot. Williams also made his impact felt on the defensive end finishing 10th in the conference and fourth in the pod with 1.3 steals per game.
Ragsdale was one of the top scorers in the conference finishing fifth in the PacWest and second in the pod at 16.8 points per game. He was efficient from the field knocking down 46.9% of all his shots good for ninth in the conference and third in the pod. He too made a big impact on the defensive end of the floor finishing second in the conference and first in the pod with 2.0 steals per game.
