SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Four Dominican men's basketball players were recipients of the 2016-17 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
Seniors
Josh Armstrong,
Josh Ramirez and
Seth Turner were joined by junior
Reverend Maduakor on the Honors Court, recognizing those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The player must but a junior or senior academically and be a varsity player. They must also maintain a GPA above a 3.2 after spending at least one year at their current school at any NAIA or NCAA accredited institution.
The announcement comes after the Penguins received the NABC Team Academic Excellence award last week.
