The Penguins applied some early pressure getting numbers into the box in the fourth minute, but they were unable to find a hole in the Eagle defense and
Ivy Torres's shot from the top of the box went high.
Michelle Li was able to find some room at the top of the box in the 37th minutes, but the Eagle defender did not allow her to square up the shot and the goalie collected the save.
Campbell opened the scoring on a free kick in the 41st minute as her ball landed in front of the goalie and took a high-hop and into the back netting. Grace Dalo looked to equalize for the Eagles in the 43rd minute after she found a bouncing ball in a scrum in front of the net, but she was unable to get it past the Penguins defense as it was blocked out of bounds.
Campbell had another chance on a free kick in the 58th minute putting the ball high, but Darby Clements got just enough of it to push it over her bar. The Eagles continued to pressure, earning eight corners in the second half. However, Concordia was not able to capitalize and totaled two shots on frame in the final 30 minutes of play.
This concluded the 2017 Penguin season.
