KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the fourth annual Team Academic Excellence Awards, created by the NABC Committee on Academics. The 2015-16 Dominican University of California men's basketball has now made the list all four seasons.

In order to earn a NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA Division I and II, must count the grade point averages of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2015-16 season.
Dominican also had a program-high six student-athletes named to the 2015-16 NABC Honors Court, which recognizes individual men's collegiate student-athletes with a 3.2 GPA or higher. Seniors
