IRVINE, Calif. — Dominican University of California's Lily Dubuc has been named this week's PacWest Women's Soccer Freshman of the Week. The award is based on games played Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
 
The Tahoma, California native registered her first-career goals, scoring in each of Dominican's two wins. She notched the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Holy Names and scored the first goal in a 2-1 triumph over Dixie State. She took six shots in the two games, after recording eight shots in her first seven games.

The Penguins, who share first place in the PacWest at 3-1,  hit the road for the next five matches. Dominican will head to Fresno Pacific and Notre Dame de Namur later this week, then embark on a three-match trip to Hawai'i.
