Mayra Almazan's team-leading sixth goal allowed Azusa Pacific to remain unbeaten in PacWest play. The goal came off a free kick that resulted from a foul at the top of the box. Almazan's shot cleared the wall and dipped right past goalie
Megan Herring.
Herring made five saves. She was relieved by fellow senior
Kelly Calton, who did not face a shot.
Dominican had several runs but Azusa Pacific's speedy defenders were able to break up passes and prevent Dominican from attempting a shot.
