Valentine, Noisat Repeat on PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — For the second week in a row, Dominican University of California's Kayla Valentine and Jacob Noisat have been named to the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll.

The announcement was made today by the league's media office in Phoenix for games contested Jan. 23-29.

Valentine, a 5-foot-6 sophomore guard out of Don Hugo High School in Chino, averaged 13 points, five rebounds and two steals in a pair of games for the Lady Penguins last week. She had 12 points, five rebounds and a season-high three assists in Saturday night's 66-48 victory over Notre Dame de Namur University.

That effort helped elevate Valentine to 16th in the PacWest in scoring with a 10.4 points per game average. Valentine, a Psychology major, has been on the PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll four times this season.

Noisat, a 6-foot-8 junior center, made the league's honor roll for the sixth time this season. The Santa Rosa Elsie Allen High School product averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Penguins in two games, shooting 11-of-16 (.688) from the floor to rank eighth in marksmanship in the PacWest for the week.

A Humanities major, Noisat is now 19th in the league in scoring with a 11.2 points per game average. He also is sixth in offensive rebounding (2.3 pg), seventh in rebounding (6.4 pg) and seventh in field goal percentage (.535).
