SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's soccer team tallied its second straight victory with a 2-1 Pacific West Conference victory over the University of Hawai'i – Hilo Vulcans on Friday afternoon.

Mallory Engelhardt found
Julianna Bratsberg, who buried a shot into the top right corner of the net for her second goal of the season. The Lady Penguins took 12 shots in the opening period.
Hawai'i Hilo scored out of the gate in the second half with an unassisted goal by Lauren Minami. The Vulcans had a huge chance to tie the match on a penalty kick but
Megan Herring made a diving save to her right to prevent the goal. Herring, who left Dominican's last contest at halftime after battling through illness, was sharp in the net and made 12 saves on the day.
Mason took three shots on goal and Bratsburg took a pair in the victory the Lady Penguins.
The Lady Penguins are right back at it on Monday, September 27 when local rival Notre Dame de Namur University comes calling for a 4:30 p.m. match.
