PacWest Preseason All-Conference Team… Home run on April 23 at NDNU tied the program career mark for home runs and her homer on April 24 vs. NDNU gave her sole possession of the the program's career record in the DII era... Named to the PacWest Academic All-Conference Team.
2015: Named
All-PacWest Second Team at second base… Named
NFCA Division II All-America Scholar-Athlete… In the final doubleheader of the season, Cavender went 5-for-6 on the day, including 4-for-4 in game two, to become the new program's new single-season batting average leader with a .375 clip… Also set marks for highest slugging percentage and highest on base percentage, with .711 and .448 respectively… 10 home runs were also the most by a Dominican player in a single season in the Division II era and put her in a three-way tie for second most in the PacWest… Led the Penguins in nearly every offensive category, also tallied 48 hits and 91 total bases… Started all 46 games.
2014: Named to Daktronics Division II All-West Region Second Team Utility… Named All-PacWest Second Team At-Large… Finished with team-high .364 batting average and .412 on-base percentage… Batting average is the second-highest single-season batting average in program history and OBP ranks third… Her .500 slugging percentage is tied for second-highest in a single season… Appeared in 40 games and started 34 (17 games at 2B, 12 games at 3B, three in RF, two at DP, two as a pinch-hitter, and four as a pinch-runner)… Tied for team lead with three triples.
Before Dominican: Was a four-year varsity starter and three-year captain at at El Camino Fundamental HS, where she was earned All-League honors three times and led her team to the Western World Series Championship… Was All-State as a senior when she hit 12 home runs and was successful 20-of-21 times on stolen bases… Was twice named team MVP… Played club ball for Nor Cal Patriots 18U Gold.
