SAN RAFAEL, Calif.- Dominican women's volleyball continued their homestand Tuesday night as they played host to the Sunbirds of Fresno Pacific. The Penguins honored first responders before the match and Forrest Fire BBQ gave out free food to the first 100 fans who were in all black supporting Dominican.
Senior leader
Avery Schneider led the Dominican offense in this one as she slammed home a team high six kills to go along with a block.
Reese Bozak was right behind her posting five on the night.
Sophomore
Chloe Cruz was setting up teammates throughout the match dishing out ten assists and three digs. Cruz, the Cerritos native, now has gone above double-digit assists in eight matches this season.
Kendal Kibanoff led the Pengs in the digs department posting a team high eleven while freshman
Ayla Johanski dug out eight.
Ashlyn Daugherty continues to be a menace on the front line collecting a team high three blocks against the Sunbirds.
