IRVINE, Calif.- Dominican men's lacrosse traveled down to southern California for a neutral site match-up versus No. 2 ranked Panthers of Adelphi University. The Penguins had three players score two goals apiece, but it wasn't enough as the Panthers showed why they're ranked No. 2 winning this one 24-7.
Graduate student
Jason Eide got the Pengs on the board when he called his own number ripping one past the outstretched goalie for the goal. Dominican would then score again when junior
Tanner Ennis found a soft spot in the Panthers defense resulting in a goal. Ennis has had a strong start to his 2025 campaign totaling six goals and six ground balls.
Speaking of good starts to the season, freshman
Chase Pacenta continues to make an impact for the Pengs. Pacenta got in the scoring column when he put a nifty move on the Panthers defender finishing the play with a missile that found the back of the net. With his two goals against Adelphi, Pacenta now has 11 goals to go along with six assists.
The Penguins will be back on the field when they return home March. 13
th to square off against Adams State University at 1 p.m.
