LA MIRADA, Calif.- Dominican women's volleyball wrapped up their southern California road-trip with a Saturday afternoon PacWest showdown with the Eagles of Biola. This was the Pengs second match in as many days and their talented freshmen class gave them positive energy throughout the match.
Alexis Schwartz, the freshman out of Carlsbad, led Dominican's offense in this one as she collected a team high eight kills to go along with four kills. Schwartz had a couple of nice kills in the first set making the Eagles defense shift their focus towards her side. Sophomore
Chloe Cruz once again dished out dimes to her teammates as she posted a team high 10 assists. This is now Cruz's 13
th match going over 10 or more assists as she is starting to look more and more comfortable in year two.

Avery Schneider collected a couple of aces to get Dominican's offense started.
Kaylee Noa was everywhere on the court this afternoon as she started rallies with some impressive digs. Noa, the freshman out of Oceanside led the team with 12 digs.
Next up for Dominican is a home match versus APU Oct. 23
rd at 5 p.m. for their dig pink match.
