DENVER, Colo.- Dominican women's lacrosse team continued their Colorado road trip Saturday afternoon traveling to Denver for a game against the No. 8 ranked Regis Rangers. The Penguins were able to secure their first NCAA DII victory last time out against CSU Pueblo. The Rangers looked all the part of the No. 8 ranked team winning 21-7.

Brooke Vafi and sophomore
Siena Fairbanks led the Penguins offense in this one scoring two goals apiece. Â The Rangers started the game hot scoring 10 goals in the first period and never looked back.
Taylor Pieri,
Nora White, and
Jacelyn Lazore rounded out the scoring for Dominican Saturday afternoon. Not only did Lazore tally a goal against the Rangers, but she also collected an assist when she fed Pieri with a beautiful pass through multiple defenders.
The Penguins will be back in action March 11
th at 12 pm MDT when they face Rockhurst.
