ROMEOVILLE, Ill.- Dominican men's lacrosse matched up against Davenport University in Illinois Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead, but the Penguins were able to cut into the deficit as

Luke Vando, and
Jason Eide found the back of the net to start the second period making it 5-3.
Dominican's defense did their job in the first half holding the Panthers to only five goals. When the third period started, Davenport shot out the gates. They would go on to dominate the third period scoring four goals to the Penguins zero. Heading into the fourth, the Panther held a 9-3 lead.
The Penguins wouldn't let being down going into the last period phase them. The offense would catch fire erupting for seven goals in the fourth. Graduate student
Per-Anders Olters would have four of the goals which was also a team-high. Vando was right behind him with three goals on the day, two coming in the fourth. Junior
Kenny Seiler led the Penguins in assists dishing out two.
Dominican will face-off against Quincy March 7
th at 1 p.m. CST to conclude their Midwest trip.
