SAN RAFAEL, Calif.- Dominican men's lacrosse honored seven senior Sunday afternoon for their senior day match against the Seawolves of Sonoma State. One of the seniors honored today was
Per-Anders Olters who tied with
Brennan Krebs and
Luke Vando with four goals on the day. The Penguins would go on to win this one 19 to 5.
Vando who posted four goals against the Seawolves started the game hot as he scored a couple seconds after the referees blew the whistle to start the game. The Pennsylvania native was all over the field for the Penguins and his fourth goal was arguably one of the best goals all season. Vando took the ball and sprinted past the Sonoma State defense and when he got into the box he swerved around the goalkeeper of a highlight reel type of goal.
Anders-Olters who was celebrated after the game on senior day went out with a bang scoring four times. His first goal came two minutes in off a beautiful pass from freshman
Zach Thoma and his last goal came off an assist by fellow senior
