The Cougars started hot winning the first set, but in the second Dominican made them earn every point. Senior
Rein Bocage was everywhere on the court leading the defense with a game high 20 digs. Today's match marked Bocage's 12
th consecutive game with 10 or more digs. Young was one dig shy of going for a double-double as she was second on the team with nine. Fellow senior
Camille Rivers continued to feed her teammates dishing out 27 assists against the Cougars.
The Pengs took a four-point lead midway through the second set, but APU marched back to make it close. Graduate student
Reagan Macha came up big in the clutch when she slammed home a kill to tie things up at 25 then she called her number again to give the Pengs the 26-25 lead. APU would come back to close out the second set and ultimately the third for the victory.
