Coggins got off to a strong start in singles as she opened the scoring with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Davina Escalante on court two. Garcia added the second victory of her senior day by knocking off the Beavers' (6-2) Bella Hernandez 6-0, 6-2 and putting her team a point away from the clinch. Hannah Lam-Truong collected a 6-0, 6-0 victory in No. 5 singles to keep things rolling for Dominican. Freshman
Astrid Craig outlasted Maiah White 6-4 in a tight first set at No. 3 singles, but bounced back for a 6-2 victory in set two.
Antoinette Schreiber celebrated her senior day with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 6 singles with all her teammates and coaches gathered on the sidelines to cheer her on.
