Junior
Diego Grande was named PacWest Player of the Year Wednesday afternoon capping off a stellar season for the Pacifica native. Grande had a career high 13 goals this season and had a game to remember on Oct. 21
st against Academy of Art where he put up four goals. He was also named to the All-PacWest first team along with teammates
Lex Bernier and
Louie Galdamez.
Bernier was a force to be reckon with for defenses across the conference ending the season with five goals and six assists. Galdamez was as stout as they get on the backline for the Penguins throughout his career and that didn't change this season logging a total of 1,344 minutes.
Newcomer
Armando Jimenez made an immediate impact for the Penguins this season after transferring from Folsom Lake. The junior was named to the All-PacWest third team along with goalkeeper
Alejandro Reyes.Â
