Dominican women's volleyball defeated Hawaii Pacific Saturday night in a thrilling 3 sets to 2 victory. Sophomore
Avery Schneider led the way for the Penguins in the kills department going for 11 while posting a .429 hitting percentage.
The Penguins came out the gates strong in this one winning the first set 25-19. Freshman
Christina Muller was all over the court for Dominican setting up her teammates with assists left and right. The Yucaipa native ended the night tallying a career high 21 assists.
The Sharks would end up winning set two which set up a critical set three. This set was back and forth with both teams showing tons of energy. A service error by Dominican tied things up at 24, but senior leader

The very next play, Abed rose up and slammed one in giving the Penguins the game point. Sophomore

HPU would push this match to the last set, and the Penguins were ready for the challenge. Junior
