SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - Women's Lacrosse has announced the hiring of two Assistant Coaches for the inaugural season, Victoria Tucci and Marlo Lile. 

"Excited or thrilled would be an understatement," head coach Joseph Manna said. "Both Coach Lile and Coach Tucci are bright young coaches who really want to leave their mark on lacrosse on the west coast. They're the ideal role models for this first class of players. I'm as excited to watch them lead off the field as I am to watch them lead on the field." 

Tucci has been named the Offensive Coordinator for the Penguins. Prior to Dominican, she spent the last five years playing NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. While there, she was a 4-year starting midfielder and 2x captain for the Seahawks. She contributed to back-to-back Northeast Conference Championships and made two NCAA Tournament appearances. Throughout her years for the Seahawks, she tallied 116 points and was named All-NEC Second Team. She is also a Coach/Trainer for 'Lax on', a lacrosse specific training company based out of Long Island, New York. 

"Victoria is a competitor in every sense of the word," Manna said. "Her enthusiasm for the game lacrosse and the shared vision of this program is clear to see. She has been surrounded by some great leadership during her time at Wagner, I'm eager to see how that will translate has she finds her owns coaching style." 

Lile will be working as the Defensive Coordinator. Before Dominican, she served as a Head Coach for Saratoga High School outside of San Jose, CA. Lile currently serves as the Girls Lacrosse Director for Southern Marin Wolfpack Lacrosse, a youth lacrosse club focused on the development and growth of players in Marin County. Prior to her move to the West Coast, Lile played Defense at Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. During her playing career, the Raiders won four consecutive OAC Conference Championships and made four Appearances in the NCAA Division III National Tournament.  

"I can't say enough good things about Coach Lile," Manna said. "Her coaching style fits the type of play and attitude we want our defense to have. She has already made a name for herself in the Bay Area lacrosse scene; the future is bright for Marlo Lile."
