The Dominican Lacrosse Program is very excited to announce Alex DeLong (Northwood High School '22, California) has Verbally Committed to continue his education and play lacrosse for Dominican University. Alex is a very talented attackman who will bring a lot to the Penguins as we build our talented 2026 class. In Alex Junior season he helped lead his team to a winning record, their first league championship, and their first ever CIF playoff appearance. Alex has had a great start to his senior season as a captain and goal scorer. Coach Sammy stated "We are very excited to have a talented, smart, goal scorer and high IQ attackman in Alex DeLong to join the Penguins for the 2022-2023 season. He has been an integral part of growing the lacrosse program for Northwood High School. He has a lot of passion for the game, he is smart, is a great dodger, a creative shooter, does a great job finding the back of the net, and always plays at 100%.
