HONOLULU – Dominican women's tennis completed its Hawaiian trip in fashion as it swept Chaminade 7-0 Monday afternoon at Ke'ehi Lagoon Tennis Courts.
"Today's win was a great way to finish our trip," head coach
Cristina Visico Hassanali said. "Each match this trip we were gaining some momentum and today we put it all together. The girls focused on their own court and took care of business in both singles and doubles. I'm very proud of how we played today."
Gigi Alajeely and
Haley Garcia got the doubles off to a quick start taking No. 3 doubles 6-0 with
Audrey Rafols and
Gina Dudley claiming the top court 6-0 to clinch the doubles point for the Penguins (2-3).
