The Dominican Lacrosse Program is very excited to announce Dominic Barrera (Saint Mary's High School '23, California) has Verbally Committed to continue his education and play lacrosse for Dominican University. Dominic is a very talented offensive player who will bring a lot to the Penguins as we build our talented 2027 class. Dominic is coming off a knee injury and is looking forward to a successful senior season. Dominic is a hard worker on and off the field, and is very engaged in his community. Coach Sammy stated "We are very excited to have a fast, strong and a tremendous athlete in Dominic Barrera to join the Penguins for the 2023-2024 season. He has a lot of passion for the game, he is smart, fast, has an excellent stick and can play many positions on offense.
